About

A fanlisting is a place for all fans of a particular show, movie, actor/actress, singer, etc. to come together and build the biggest listing of people from all around the world who are fans of that subject. This is the fanlisting for all fans of the band Cheap Sex.

The site is named after the Cheap Sex song "Take a Chance" which is on their CD entitled "Launch Off to War."

Who is Cheap Sex?

From their MySpace profile:

Cheap Sex was forged out of a need for real, socially aware punk in the San Diego scene. With an outbreak of pop-punk and emo the scene seemed void of any punk with a hardcore/street/77 influence. Started in December of 2002 the band quickly came together and had a five-song demo. Soon after they were signed to Punk Core Records and recorded a full-length debut album titled "Launch Off To War" (Punk Core Records July 2003).

Aggressively supporting their debut album, the band shared the stage with some of the biggest acts of today and yesterday, such acts are. 999, Slaughter and The Dogs, Lower Class Brats, English Dogs, The Feederz, Agent Orange, Defiance, and Icons of Filth to name a few. After playing several shows on the west coast, the band made its east coast debut at the 3 day Vive Le Punk festival at CBGB OMFUG in New York. The band shared the stage with The Adicts, Abrasive Wheels, and many others, and received a massive response. The band also performed at the Wasted 2004 festival in the UK (formerly known as Holidays In The Sun) with bands such as Discharge, Broken Bones, UK Subs, The Business and countless other legendary punk acts.

Only one year after the release of "Launch Off To War", the band released its second full length album titled "Headed For A Breakdown" in 2004. The album received rave reviews worldwide upon its release.

2005 will be a big year for Cheap Sex. The band will be touring in August, and will be recording their third full length album for Punkcore Records tentatively titled "Written In Blood" by the end of the year with an expected release in early 2006.
